Technology

Our classes are well resourced and are constantly being upgraded. Technology is recognised as an essential learning tool. Use of technology is mandated in every course and every year level of the Australian Curriculum. Interactive whiteboards are in every classroom in the junior school. The library contains a class set of networked computers. Class sets of laptops and iPads are available to support classroom learning.

Prep to Year 3

For students in Prep to Year 3, it is vital that the employment of technology is adequate to prepare them for their future years within the College. Therefore, these students will have the opportunity to utilize and hone their skills with both iPads and laptops provided by the College during school hours.

In addition, each classroom has employed various smart devices, such as smart projectors, boards, or TVs. These devices can provide the students with the best possible foundation for not only their technological endeavours, but also serve as an excellent medium in which the students can effectively develop and learn within their classrooms.

Years 4 to Year 6

All students from Years 4 to 6 are involved in a 1 to 1 iPad program which supports their learning both at school and at home.
