CUNNINGHAM

Sister Rose Cunningham accompanied St Mary MacKillop from Penola to Adelaide in 1867, working with her to establish the first Josephite school in Adelaide. 


McCORMACK

Sister Irene McCormack was a member of the Sisters of St Joseph who worked as a missionary in Peru. Whilst working there, she was killed in 1991 by members of Sendero Luminoso ("Shining Path"), a Maoist rebel guerrilla organisation.  


PENOLA

Penola, South Australia, was the location of St Mary Mackillop’s first St Joseph's School, which was established in a disused stable in 1866. 


TENISON

Fr Julian Tenison Woods was a priest inspired by Passionist, Marist and Jesuit charism and co-founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph with St Mary MacKillop.
